Flight & Dreams is based at Cranfield Ariport,
Bedfordshire. Cranfield
has been a busy training airfield since its construction for the RAF in 1936.
It is now owned and operated by Cranfield University for whose students
Flights & Dreams also provides tuition in the university's own Scottish
Aviation Bulldog.
The large amount of uncontrolled airspace around Cranfield is particulary
benficial for aerobatic training. The circuit is at times rather busy, but the
long hard runway enables us to fly throughout the year without getting stuck in
the mud!
For those who do not with or have not the time to come to Cranfield, we can
quote for training anywhere in Europe. The Pitts has proved to be quite
practical for long distance trips, providing we remember to stop for petrol
occasionally!
